ScanManager GmbH is the new name of iQsoftlab GmbH. iQsoftlab Ltd has as been founded in 2007 in Munich.

The independent daughter company was established by iQvolution AG in 2003. iQsun Ltd. and iQvolution AG have jointly developed one of the most popular laser scanners on the world market, known today as FARO LS 880.

Our team of experts have rich experience in carrying out software development projects in the field of 3D laser scanning:
  -  2004 – 2006
     Development of the FARO Clouds MS software in behalf of FARO Scanner Production Ltd as a plug-in for import of scan points into the      MicroStation CAD software.
  -  2006 – 2008
     Research project, funded by the Bulgarian National Innovation Fund. Core theme of the project: Development of a technology for      automated imaging of buildings, facilities and installations by using 3D Laser Scanner.

Our team of experts are involved also in projects that are devoted to:
  -  Elaboration of a universal file format for 3D laser scan data;
  -  Development of algorithms to enrich the 3D scan data with additional information from external devices (i.e. thermographic camera);
  -  Development of methods to combine 3D laser scanning technology with the PRINCE (PRojects IN Controlled Environment) platform.

In 2007 iQsoftlab Ltd. has acquired the ScanManager™ 3.5 software from the 3D Scanline Engineering Office, Munich, Germany.

In harmony with the company’s business philosophy, we provide individually customised software solutions in order to fulfil the total customer satisfaction. Thus our team of experts have developed solutions that are custom-tailored according to the needs for specific scan data management of KUKA Systems GmbH, Germany and Daimler AG, Germany.

Our profound expertise within remote sensing and CAD technologies is based on numerous 3D laser scanning and 3D CAD modelling projects.
